Super sharp, well built, beautiful shallow depth of field. Makes you appreciate your focusing skills as it’s tack sharp when you nail it.

Exceptional glass for the Sony system. Always a joy to use it. Really not much more is needed to be said. If you are okay with manual focus, I really dont think there is a better overall combination of size, speed, build quality, weight, and image rendering at 85mm than this lens.

Nothing at all to complain about. The image quality from this lens is second to known, sharp wide open corner to corner. If you don’t like manual focusing, I would look elsewhere but if you take the effort to learn the lens you will be very pleased.
