This is my first sigma lens and it has not disappointed.I bought it primary for shooting landscapes and perhaps astrophotography (if I ever get a clear night!). I use it with a Canon 5D mkiii and you can see some of the results attached. I’ve also used it with my 700D and works great as a wider portrait lens on a cropped body.PROS- Sharp as anything- Visually very pleasing and feels well built- Haven’t used it much but I do like the carry case that it comes with.CONS- A bit heavy but when using a tripod this isn’t really an issue.- No weather sealing :(I’ve also used the 35mm Art which is also a great lens and will definitely consider buying more sigma lenses in the future as they are amazing value for money.

What a lens! Possibly the best I’ve ever owned! So sharp and on a par if not better than canon L glass! Worth every penny. Strong build!

What a great lens. I’ve got it on my canon 5d mkiv. Early days yet focus is quick and accurate. Low light performance is really good wide open at f1.4. The two shots I’ve posted no flash and windows with blinds on a rainy day. What more could I ask.

Better than L series lenses.

Fell in love with this lens as soon as I got it. Went out during the sunset and this amazing detailed picture. The detail is insane but the auto focus struggles sometimes. Going from a Canon lens to this it can be tedious but using the live screen you can tap on the items you want to focus on.Would highly recommend!

Bought it and sold it – but could have been a keeper really, except that I already had two lenses that do a decent job at 24mm.A slightly odd focal length for such a fast lens to be honest. Way too wide for most everyday shooting/portraits/subjects but not wide enough for something like astro. But it is super sharp and produces wonderful image quality. I used it mostly for landscapes and would have to work the composition properly using my feet more. I could have come to use this as my standard wide angle landscape lens but ultimately decided that the flexibility of something like a 16-35 outweighed the image quality performance of this one.I have many sigma art lenses and theyve all been excellent so far. Ive not had focussing issues on my canon 5d mk4

I purchased this after reading the reviews and I was not let down. The pictures I have taken have been crisp and without flaw. there is more that enough technical detail in the reviews already that I can confirm to be correct. I have 2 canon L series lenses I have been using regularly for landscapes and long exposures that I rarely put in my bag since I purchased this lens. Simply excellent value for money.
