This flash produces seriously good results just sitting on the top of the camera. One of the cheapest Speedlights, it still isn’t cheap however it is worth it. The build quality is good, [t feels really solid and well put together. Switching on, I was amazed by how quickly it charges up. The menu is not immediately intuitive but some reading (I got mine from ClickElectronics and yes, I got an English manual) and watching a few videos on youtube quickly got me started. I have not had the opportunity to use it in earnest however some trial shots around the house have produced really good results without much effort. Now comes the warning… as you start to learn about the whole Nikon lighting system, your juices will begin to flow and pretty soon, you will start thinking about buying a second one! If you have a newer Nikon camera with commander mode, this (or the 910) is the flash for you.
