You cant fault this. Great pics taken and great quality. Good for portraits. A great addition to my lens collection.

Had to send my 1st item back to ClickElectronics which they quickly dispatched a replacement. Excellent Nikon prime lens which is a great addition to my camera bag!
Ulisses –
Amazing piece of equipment, specially when your learning how to use the functions on the camera with the lenses.
T. Kerby –
This is a lovely primary lens that I have been using vary effectively in low light to take actions shots.

As a novice I had put this lens to use on my old Nikon D300 camera. I am very pleased with the performance. Good clean pictures with excellent portrait and close up performance. Cannot fault it so far.

Do you know that blur background effect the mobile phones are doing via software? So they are only copying what this kind of lens are capable to do. This depth effect is really nice for portraits and this lens just work.Nikon lens are amazingly good quality and it is really easy to mount in the body. This lens is a must have for everyone who loves take pictures. Since I bought this lens it is the default in my camera. The main problem now is to hold the 3 sets of lens I have with the camera.

Wonderful lens, good results. Finally saw some bokehs at 35mm :).There is noticeably sound from the focusing mechanism, but it ok, and fairly unnoticeable during video recording.I felt occational difficulties to focus close objects (within 30cm, just mentioning). The ClickElectronics product description was a bit confusing for me. This is a 35mm DX lens. On DX cameras like d5600, it will give 35mm focul length. The 52mm focul length adjustment is applicable, only when it is used with a full frame camera. (Mentioned, just because, it may help someone).

Love these lens. Works really well with my D5600. Nice sharpness and bokeh too (please see pics). It’s a must have lens and you will see it is a big upgrade from the kit lens (18-55mm).

The more recent Nikon lenses seem to me to be getting more & more plastic’y feeling & actually do contain more plastic parts in a literal sense TBH & as such I feel the quality has begun to suffer. Having said that though I’m glad to say that this 35mm 1.8 G version lens feels not too bad considering it is mostly plastic. It feels reasonably weighted in the hands. I think it might actually prove to be a decent long term lens for me but that part is still a way off to determine but it does feel way way better made than it’s more Plastic’y kit Lenses do that’s for sure. As for actual performance well you get what’s pretty much to be expected & that’s an excellent 35mm prime capable of giving you nice crisp & sharp images & if Bokeh is your thing it’ll give you that too. It performs particularly well in low light situations considering it’s the 1.8 IMHO & I can’t see much benefit to be had in going for the much more expensive 1.4 unless you really need Ultra low light use or are obsessed with getting some Ultra Bokeh looks going on. I bagged it for 135 off Amz UK so it’s definitely a no brainer bargain 35mm 1.8 & you get your Nikon D7500 extended warranty. I can highly recommend it.

I am very much a “snapper” and only upgraded from a bridge camera to a second hand d5100 last December as I wanted better quality photos. I am pleased with the results I can get with the kit 18-55mm and 55-300mm lenses that I purchased at the time, however when our first grand daughter came along I quickly realised that getting good, sharp, indoor shots with these lenses was a challenge. So I recently looked around for an alternative for indoor use mainly and came up across the 35mm and 50mm f1.8 Nikons. As others have mentioned, the 50mm was not only more expensive but too long when taking photos in cramped conditions and so I quickly decided and purchased this 35mm version of the f1.8. I have only had this a few days but what a bargin at £149. Already taken some great baby photos indoors without having to ramp up the ISO too much or reduce the speed down too slow. You need to take care with the focus point as the depth of field can be shallow at the wide open apertures but that’s about all. I haven’t tried it outside yet so can’t comment on that and I may still prefer the flexibility of a zoom lens (although I suspect this will give better shots if you position yourself to compose things correctly). Highly recommend this lens to anyone !
