    I’ve previously used a webcam I bought a few years ago that is only vga resolution. It was okay but I wanted something a little better. This one installed in seconds with windows and gives a much improved image, very clear night or day especially as it automatically adjusts to give the best picture possible. Highly recommended.

    I eneded a new web can that would work under Linux, but wouldn’t cost a fortune.The C270 plugged straight in to both Ubuntu and Xubuntu and worked straight away with no disk needed. I also loaded it on an XP laptop and loaded the minimum drivers I could get away with, because I am not a fan of all the extra nonsense that comes with these sorts of devices (like alien avitars and the rest)The microphone is still reasonably clear when placed on a monitor which is a comfortable working distance away from my face.The image, despite the lack of Logitech’s drivers, self adjusts and delivers what I believe to be a good quality image despite the very low, ambient room light in an evening.When a good light source is used to light the face, there is a notable increase in image quality.Logitech have a good track record in web cams, and this value version didn’t dissapoint. I’d buy this again in a heartbeat.

    Cam works well enough except for me it doesn’t always recognise on boot up (W10) always works on reboot. I own an older logitech cam and that done the same thing. Mainly the reason i bought this. The older cams software had more to offer except for the zoom feature and the stand allowed the cam to swivel left and right unlike the new one : . Positives: camera’s auto focus and clear picture are a good upgrade.

    I originally bought this camera for my streaming. I wanted something that i could use for a funny mic like Jschlatt that i could switch back and forth from my normal mic to that.It would seem to turn out that given the right room conditions the mic is more clear and crisp than my original of around about 3 years.The box came in complete devastation and was quite disappointing since its a logitech brand camera and an ClickElectronics delivery but the quality of the actual product is good enough it helped me overlook it.

    This is the same item as I bought 4 years ago, not one of the C270i that everyone is complaining about. The build, picture and mic quality are all as I expected, and I’m very happy with it. My boss and FD have already seen it in operation and asked me to get them one, too. Nuff said.
