JBL do not disappoint, I have had a few days to play about with it and I love it, Excellent Sound quality, good battery life and pretty much any colour to suit your needs, Can’t beat it for the price, perfect for those card games with your mates

This is a damn fine little bluetooth speaker. I’m sure it’s not going to be as good on sound quality as something twice the size in every dimension and costing 4+ times as much, but at this size-and-price point it’s really impressive. There is audible bass, but obviously not seriously thumping given the size of the thing. Detail is there in the highs without sounding cheap or harsh – it passes my standard “Gershwin’s Rhapsody In Blue” test for enjoyable listening well, if not spectacularly. Does a decent job with dance music too.Volume goes pretty high (much more than I had expected from the size) and the volume curve is really good at the low-end. You can turn this down to being VERY quiet and have quite a few steps at the quiet end – would be ideal if you wanted to stick this under a pillow and fall asleep to music in bed. It does the modern bluetooth-speaker thing where the volume buttons on the speaker adjust “the same volume control” as the ones on the phone do (rather than the speaker having its own “volume setting” separate to the source).Build is plastic and feels very solid, with the top buttons being designed-in flex in the continuous case plastic, rather than a silicone rubber panel. Black metal grille on the front looks neat and doesn’t have much give so it should protect the innards pretty well against most day-to-day use and maybe even occasional small drops. Doesn’t need a carry-case unless you want to stop it getting turned on in the bottom of a bag, I’d reckon. The side flap which covers the micro-usb charge port and 3.5mm aux-in socket is very secure and seals pretty seriously, so I don’t doubt the waterproofing claims. If you have short fingernails, you might need to use something to help lever it open, but I think that’s far better than it falling open easily and risking drowning the internals.Buttons are nice and simple – power, bluetooth-pair (handy to have it so obvious, if you want to quickly switch which device it’s paired to, without trying to remember a complicated trick), volume down and up, play-pause. The only track-control is Skip To Next (double-press the Play button) – holding volume up/down just keeps changing the volume. Fine by me, I like simple. It comes with an obligatory short micro-USB cable to charge it up, if you happen to need that. It’s nice, it’s red, it’s probably going in my travel-electronics bag as I’ve already got a gadget-charging station set up.This is a “first day” review, so there might be issues which haven’t come to light yet. If any disappointments crop up in the future, I’ll try to remember to come back and edit.

Just a wonderful little device with such high quality sound that I have kept my portable Bose Speaker in the closet, which is ten times its price. We just love it and when we have a party, it plays unintrusive music in the background yet when loud music is played, the quality of sound holds well. I carry it in my handbag everywhere I travel. My Father, 94 years old bless him suffering from dementia loves hearing music pointing to my handbag to play it. The blue tooth connects instantly to your mobile device.

The product is well made looks/feels very nice. The sound for such a small speaker is Fantastic. I previously had a B**e speaker the was 5 times the price and sounded no better than this little delight. Don’t be put off by the size or small price, makes you wander why similar size speakers are £100???

I use this as my bathroom speaker for when I’m in the shower and I can hear podcasts, music and audiobooks without any issues. The bass and high end are great for such a small device. I typically get around a month of use from this between charges, though I only use it in short, 15-20 minute durations several times per week. The speaker has gotten wet a few times without any issue, though I wouldn’t pour water into it all the time just I’m case. The construction is sturdy, and it has survived a few drops from 1.5m or so. All the ports are covered with a thick rubber protector and the buttons are solid and work well. I thought this speaker is fairly priced and the sound our of something so small is very impressive; it gets more than loud Enough for my needs

I absolutely love this! My dad recommended it to me after he purchased one. I’ve been using it all the time and found that the battery really lasts and the sound quality is awesome

For £30 you cant beat it for value, sounds crisp and punchy super good for music or movies and battery lasts ages. JBL is always good for value so i knew this would work for me anyway… super happy.Plenty of bass for a tiny device for all you bassheads out there 😉

I bought this unit only a week ago because of its ClickElectronics reviews.I really wish I had not done so.Extremely low volume. If you like music, heed my warning, do not buy.I fully charged the unit, played mp3 files and only got 90 minutes of continuousplay. The reviews I read do not reflect the poor sound and life of this item.Unfortunately I do not have the original packaging otherwise it would have been returned immediately.I’m disgusted and will never trust ClickElectronics reviews ever again.
