    I toyed with getting the Insta360 One X, GoPro Fusion or the GoPro Hero 7. I went for the Insta360 One X as I like the fact that I can shoot 360 video or just edit it as a standard view which I wouldn’t be able to do with a Hero 7. It was cheaper than a GoPro Fusion and the files sizes are smaller, stitching is done for you and editing is simple. It is also one of a few cameras that can now do HDR video as well as photos. All in all I am very happy with the camera and have no regrets in buying it.

    I’ve owned a few 360 cameras and this is by far the easiest to operate, best image and quickest to edit all from the intuitive App. You can obviously export the footage and edit on a pc or Mac if you need more than the App offers. There is free editing software called Studio, it has some great features considering it’s free!I’ve mounted it to the outside of my aircraft and tested in speeds of 140mph+ The image stabilisation is superb with no obvious flutter shown on the playback.So far so good! Get one!
