    Got me around the Tough Mudder (2017) without a hitch. Great fit. I’d previously mounted my GoPro on a helmet, but this imparts quite a bit of shake as a helmet will inevitably jump and jiggle around on your head, no matter how tight you tie it on. No so with the head strap. Its snug fit means that the camera will point where your head points. Nice and grippy is the way to go. I was surprised at how comfy it was too.TIP: If you’re shooting on a wide angle with your GoPro you might want to angle the camera slightly downwards (instead of directly towards the horizon), otherwise you’ll get too much sky in the footage.

    As usual, the official GoPro quality is present with this accessory, and the kit that can be used in many different ways.The head harness is very adjustable, both the strap that goes around the head and the one that goes over. The straps feature wavey stick pads to allow it to sit firmly on the head. With it fitted, you can jump up and down and the camera will sit firm. I was concerned that the mounting plate would prevent the camera from looking straight ahead, but it allows the camera to sit horizontal.The quick clip is ideal, and can be used in a variety of ways, the reason I bought it was for use on a reversed baseball cap. You can mount it on the peak of a cap (itย’s a little weighty though, but it may be okay for the session). The foam pad on the back of the clip gives comfort when wearing it, and it contours round slightly to sit flush on your head. It also could be clipped to belts/straps.

    I bought this to hold my GoPro when filming without a tripod. It is easy to fix the camera to and it is also easy to adjust the width of the head band to fit my large head! It has not fallen off yet and I have even filmed jumping into swimming pools with my son. It is waterproof so I have had no problems getting it wet and it has not shown any signs of ware. It is also quite comfy to ware and keeps your head warm ๐Ÿ™‚

    Bad design flaw. Can’t angle the camera to look straight ahead.

    Good product, does the job, but doesn’t hold well on the head without a helmet, especially when hair is wet. I would recommend only wearing it with helmet or use the harness.

    Not suitable for GoPro 5 session. The camera fits too close to the clasp, meaning you can’t angle the camera in all vertical orientations. You can’t position it to look straight ahead, only down towards the ground, or if you attach it upside down, it looks skywards. In short it is totally useless for fitting to a helmet or hat with vertical sides.

    The build quality is fantastic, fits the go pro hero 5 perfect and keeps it in position well. The one downside…. It does not fit my motorcycle helmet fully and I do need to keep stretching it out every so often as the elasticity in the band tries to go to normal position. I recommend this only if you don’t use a large helmet.
